Nebraska traffic vs California traffic makes a big difference :)

By now the Phở is cold . . .

Maybe we should have put a minimum speed on this contest

    DRIVING STUNT:
Please do not treat this as anything but another stupid driving stunt. I did it between 2-5 PM, Monday afternoon, ad hoc, overlapping the Huntsville rush-minute. This trip included a late lunch, shopping, and fetching pho for my wife. I ran short of my expected 8 mi/kWh due to dealing with traffic.
The take-out has the broth separate from the flank steak, onion, and other spices. So you re-heat the broth; add the ingredients, and; serve on bean sprouts and bay leaf. My wife does not like cilantro ... go figure.

Just suggesting reply to the posting with the table; trim the unneeded parts, and; add a line. I won't mind, it isn't copyrighted, and I'll be happy to share the PriusChat royalties.

you actually have to take into account parasitic loss once you're going below 20 mph.

Rather than parasitic, I prefer to call it 'vehicle overhead'. Don't forget that the average speed also includes stop lights and stop signs.

I get ~275 Wh/Mi in our Model S. Not sure how that converts.

Haven't driven the Prius Prime in enough traffic/normal driving to get a good number.

    Just inverse the fraction.

That brings up an interesting point/question...

Long term what do you guys see as the standard that most company's use? Personally at this point I prefer miles/kWh, but maybe that is due to preconditioning.

Agree, and many feel gallons per hundred miles is. Better than mpg, but I'm too old for that.

    It appears your almost right..

Less than 5k in stock OR transit. Despite the Orion factory being back making Bolts (and Sonics) for well over a month cranking out 100+ Bolts (and a few Ampera-E’s) every day, inventory has fallen from a max of about 7k to under 5k now.

So people are buying Bolts despite a large upswing in production, which is logical, most cars are sold late in the year.

Not if you visit the Huntsville Chevy dealer like I did yesterday. I didn't even have the heart to visit the Toyota dealer ... <long stream of Marine Corps invectives>

I finally saw my 1st couple of 'em w/in the past 2 weeks, but then again - I drove nearly 2,000 miles + so it was bound to happen pretty soon.
