    Very nice!

I average around 110 mpg for my 89 mile commute this time of year, and my best results are in the mid 120s. There is really no practical way to compare the two commutes but you might try using EV only on your NET downhill direction and HV the other way.

certainly worth considering ... you might have seen this, I profiled my commute in this post My EV range story ... when I was charging at work, my best mpg was 135 calculated, and during those times I depleted EV during my morning commute. I'll continue to try other approaches but i also like to do the same approach like 2 weeks in a row to rule out daily variabilities.
The other part of me wants to drive EV on the surface streets, and yet another part of me wants to just drive and not worry about all the options I have at my hands :cool: I (still) love my Prime!:love::love:

Mine charges to 50 now (10,800 miles) and does not drop to 49.9 for at least 3 miles. Turn on the A/C and it drops to 43 or sometimes 42.5. Go figure. In actuality I get 30 to 55 per charge. I live in the foothills and attempt to not use except on level ground or descending and as little as possible over 50 mph.

After 15 days of owning the (Plus) base model Prime, I've now reached the hallowed "34-mile" charge mark. (Today's was 34.3)
    I charge using the 120V-cable.

Here is the update as promised. Well we finally got the gas warning message telling us we only had 28 gas miles left in the tank. Charging is done at home and at work. Here are the stats. Car picked up on Jun 8th. typical drive to work is 15.3 one way. to work we run electric. on the way home we run eco mode to give the gas engine some exercise. With two longer weekend trips to the hair dresser of approx. 45 mile each way, plus a few short trips to the store and stuff. Mileage at time the tank was filled with 10.05 gallons for $23.10 total mileage on the odometer was 1,692 miles with a 176.9 average. Current charge number is 40.8 and is still continuing to go up.

I've had my Prime since February and when I use the Entune app it will say I have 33 miles on the charge but when I get in the car it may only be 30...what gives? Anybody have this same problem? Now this is doing rural driving with AC on so I don't know it there is a way to get even more miles than that this time of year. Any hints you care to share??

AC on is the difference, turn it off before you turn on the car and see if you still have a delta, AC reduces EV range by about 10% depending on AC settings

After 2 months and 2500 km (1553 miles) I'm getting 67.4 km (41.8 miles) displayed. On the road I'm getting around 62 km (38.5 miles). This is low speed city driving.

The numbers do not make sense to me.

If it takes 11.8 kWh to travel 100 km
it takes 11.8*0.674 = 7.83 kWh to travel 67.4 km

There is no where near 7.83 kWh usable energy in one charge.

Numbers aside - in reality, are you all getting better than 25 miles EV range, or is this just another hyper-miling type exercise?

Well, my EV range keeps improving. Today I traveled 30 miles on EV with it showing 6 miles left.

Numbers are numbers. Reality is usually different. As I stated this was city driving at low speeds in EV City mode (post #5). This mode is on EU spec only and reduces electric motor power. You need to include also some regen.
At higher speeds real EV range drops significantly. In average I'm always doing more than 30 miles per charge.

Yes.. I got 35.5 actual miles on last nights charge. No hypermiling... just driving it... but making sure my score is in the 90's.

Finally, I got ACTUAL EV range over 30 miles, but only with AC off and very conservative driving. As it turned out using cruise control on rural road worked better than manual foot pedaling. GOM was 31.3 miles and I actually drove 31.0 miles using EV only. I need to extend 6 more miles to make my complete commute on EV. IMG_20170825_062145.jpg

What is the easiest way to record ACTUAL EV range? I have been just using EV mode from full charge and never switch the mode until battery deplete to force the EV mode to cancel. I visually observe the tripmeter mile and write it down. I then subtract the tripmeter mile in the morning when the battery was fully charged. This works, but I have to either memorize or write it down the mile at when EV cancels while driving, which can be dangerous. Is there better way to measure the Actual EV driven?
