    I meant the Delta SOC when chosen from drop down menu in Torque does not display correctly. Perhaps it needs to be modified or adjusted. No big deal. Not that important for most of my uses.

    So, the oem pack has 14 modules containing 2 cells each I think. 2k1toaster pack has 7 with each containing 4 cells. Does the Prius computer and torque app still read them the same?

    Not quite.

    The OEM pack has 28 modules containing 6 cells a piece. The Prius arranges this into 14 "blocks" that it monitors.

    My pack (like the CEBA pack that pioneered this form-factor) has 14 modules containing 12 cells a piece. The Prius also arranges this to 14 blocks, except in this case each block is a single module versus 2 modules making up a single block in the original design.

    This means the Prius treats it exactly the same.

    3000 miles on the pack since October.
    Nothing to report.
    Been driving with an extra transmission in stored in the hatch.
    Mpg same as always.

    Geez, I thought keeping a few extra tools in the car would help me be ready for just about anything. I got nothin' on this.

    The battery isn't really there to modify the gas mileage. It's the same as it ever was as far as I can tell. Buy to be honest I don't really pay much attention.

    This is my work Prius so there are times where it may sit powered on idling but not moving for long periods of time.

    Plus it is cold Wisconsin winter right now.

    My trips can range from high 30's to high 50's depending on the day. For instance, my drive home last night was 57 mpg. Last week the tank was at 42 mpg, but by the time I went to fill up I had hammered it down to 38 mpg due to idling with the heat on.

    Overall I'd say it is in line with my other two Prius, given the offset for extra idling, etc.

    Nope. Technically it exists. CEBA makes the plastics for a Gen 1 kit already. But there's a double whammy in favour of the Toyota kit. The Gen 1 battery from Toyota is cheaper than the Gen2/Gen3 off the bat and it contains more modules. Meaning to buy a kit with my batteries, you'd end up paying the same amount after core refund. Just isn't worth it unless you want to try something new.

    Delta SOC is not a voltage measurement.

    While not technically correct, think of it as a measure of the variability of the SOC. Large, quick swings in SOC is bad.

    A good rule of thumb is Delta SOC less than 20.

    One reason I asked is in Private Sales somebody has listed a Gen 1 to part out but says they will sell it whole for $250. It needs a battery, among other things.
