Please help. 07 Prius died an hour ago on the road and won't start.

    I thought Toyota specified full synthetic oil for the Prius. I remember my son using that when he had his Gen 2.

    There's no mention of synthetic oil in the 2nd gen US Owner's Manual, just the spec'd weight of 5W-30.

    I change my oil every 5000 miles on my gen2 cars using a synthetic blend for $2 quart. Seems to be working fine without issues

    I’m a 2005 owner with 440,000 miles and thought I’d had everything happen. The good thing is a code reader is going to tell you what happened. You know (because of flashers and headlights) your 12 volt battery is good. You also know that the car was just fine before the bridge! So it is electrical there are 50 fuses including the Main hybrid Fuses in the rear. Hear is a list of them. You can check them all.     Fixed in post 16. A fuse blew due to a recalled part.
