So I recently squired a prolong charger with the discharge ready harness, and I don't own a discharger. I do own a turnigy reaktor 300w hobby charger. Technically can I hook that up to the prolong charger and have an intelligent discharger? Or is the only cheap method using the prolong light bulb discharger?

Anyone know where I can buy the connector used so I can just use my own light bulb system? Thanks!

If you’re cobbling this together, you could always sever the Prolong connector and wire things up as you see fit;).

    Saves procuring something else:).

Or just spend the $$$ and you’re good to go(y).

Oh I'd clobber it up and crimp together a solution.. but for some reason the harness alone is $150... making it a very expensive mistake waiting for happen.

    It’s all about perspective ;).

If you’ve resolved yourself with piece mealing this, I’d spend some time looking into the wires and their functions.

Good luck and keep us posted (y).

Prolong bulb discharger is fairly cheap, or you can ask them to send you just the wire. I think it'll be $20 for wiring

Yeah the bulb discharger has a dongle cable that you connect to the existing main harness when you want to put a load across the battery.

With that special little dongle all you need is 2 light bulb sockets and a set of bulbs and a piece of wood to mount the sockets on.
Then go on hybridautomotive.com and print out there bulb discharge instructions.
