hi 2007 prius here. fuse box

    could someone post a picture of their fuse box
    i am trouble shooting the cigarette lighter outlet
    in the passenger leg area

    there are 2 fuse boxes, one in the engine compartment by the driver's fender, one inside where you are already looking.

    Here is the picture from pg 435 of the Owner's Manual (Download the Owner's Manual from Toyota):

    AND...there is a relay for the front power outlet under the front, left corner of the dash.

    embarrassed, i have been looking under the hood for 10 years under hood, where is other one?

    Oh, if the fuses check OK, get a meter (or test light) and see if you have power to the plug in the back of the power outlet. There is a small fusible link made into the outlet that may have blown. If you look closely at this picture, you can see it on the back of the outlet.

    No blown fuse the socket is bad. Replaced my front one twice in the last 11 years. Real PIA!

    found the blown fuse in interior panel got a new 15 amp fuse but is has to be a smaller shallower version.
    thanks for all the helpful info!
    Still could use a foto of anyones simliar 2007 prius int and ext fuse boxes.....

    Yes, always a rude surprise:confused:, they use the Low Profile mini fuse.

    no, if the dashboard lights are failing, it's a bad combination meter
