Clicking noise coming from the very end of the CV axel turn didn't change the click

    I jack up turn both wheel click only on passanger side only when going fwd then back. Not rolling. Turn out to be 3 cup low of transmission fluid made it drive a lot quiter to in the engine
    Find the hex drain plug move forward to the odd looking nut 3" higher front side. Un screw fill to max then lower car flat now jack back up install plug

    To be missing that much fluid, you must have a leak in the axle seals

    I changed it a year or so ago I think it had air bubbles or something at that time. No leaks anywhere.

    Was the car level? That can be a factor. The Repair Manual doesn't really say, but I think they're assuming the car's on a (level) hoist:
