can you describe please what this file helps with?
I have this unit, and after long research was able to customise some features of the unit, like changing default start up image, switching off default view of navi screen at the start and having radio for instance.
next step is to purchase fm band convertor so I can use fm up to 108.
also disabled japaneese reminders.
But still looking for more features.
That why I wonder what that software does.

That's the software that allows the head unit to load if you disconnect the 12v battery.
If you're already able to access the settings menu (including bluetooth) you won't need this.

What size SD card did you use?
Same model head unit?
Did you put it in the correct slot?

 

I have the same problem. I had to wait 30 sec for the sd to load and then nothing... radio and camera was working just like before. BT doesn’t work. Any help?

 

There's a message that comes up but I've never translated to see what it says.
My map doesn't work either so I'm assuming it's the same message you see. You can press AV to skip past it.
Bluetooth settings: when you press the knob, there's a settings icon at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
In there, I believe the bluetooth menu is on the second screen.

 

Huh. Mine just worked when I got the car. When I turn it on, it gives me a message which sounds suspiciously like "Good morning and welcome" (which I'm basing on what I've heard in animes). The radio doesn't work beyond 95MHz or something (which is fine because my wife just listens to FM 89.0). Bluetooth works. Pairing was a huge pain until I used Google Translate to figure out which was the "Pair new device" and which was the "Remove paired devices" buttons. There are screens where you can input information about maintenance about the car, but I can't be bothered because I note that stuff on my smartphone.

There are energy readouts (mileage and things, I guess?), but honestly, I just stick to the audio screen because that's all I really need. Or the phone screen, so that I can make and receive calls while driving.

 

Can anyone tell me how to get the Quick Setup menu for this unit to appear?
Even after disconnecting my 12v battery it won't appear for me to setup the unit.

Is there a 'hard' option like a sequence to follow to get the Quick Setup menu to show up, like that of the Service Menu?

Any help much appreciated. Thanks!

I am from Bangladesh and I own a Prius PHV 2014. I have the NSZT-W62G deck unit and toyota navigation SD card is working for BT pairing, Music and Japan map and other items. Unfortunately in the back camera view the guide lines are missing. I purchased the car from Japan and previous owner sent me some pictures where guide lines on back camera view was working. But I am unable to reset the guide lines as was with the original condition. Any clue as to how the guide lines can reappear?
