Fuel filter change

    If your car is a North American Prius, see my post #8 above. It is not possible to separately replace the fuel pump; the entire fuel tank must be replaced (not just removed.) If your car was produced for other markets, then the fuel pump is separately replaceable.

    So on a 2007, I dont need to worry about the fuel filter. Its a north american car.

    Yep, it works until it don't.

    Haven't had to do much of anything on a Prius regarding the fuel system. Have done a few tank assemblies on Gen2's, usually for a faulty level sensor. Had one where rust caused a small evap "leak" around the fuel line connection flange.
