    I don't have that car anymore. But I believe it is a warranty item now. It wasn't warranty when I had the car

    C1319 ( C0200, C0205) - 166k miles , 2008 ;
    car out of warranty , I was told at dealership it's a $2,700 job to replace the "brake actuator"
    do youguys know if I reset the ABS wit ha paper clip port 4 / 13 can I damage more or is it safe to try ...

    You can try to reset the skid control ECU. An alternative is to purchase a used brake actuator and have that installed by an independent.

    Hi Patrick,
    Are there any recommended shops here on the forum or mechanics that could help replacing the actuator? Chicago land area.
    I am willing to help, I don't mind getting my hands dirty but I'm afraid this requires more knowledge.
    If you know anybody that can help with this brake actuator, Chicago land area, I would really appreciate it.
