I'm guessing this is the HV battery charge, not the 12V. There is a limit to how much energy the HV battery can take, depending on its charge and temperature.

Hello thank you for your reply The HV Charge control is for the 201 volt battery but I need to know why the charge control is showing minus 25KV, is this normal or is there a fault

I don't use Torque Pro, but it sounds like you're measuring power into and out of the traction battery. It goes both ways and one is positive while the other is negative.

If there's a fault, you'll get lights on the dashboard.

I assume it's the charge control limit and there is a charge and discharge limit. One is positive, the other is negative.

Big difference between 25 KW and 25 KV ! I think you had it right the first time.

A limit of −25 KW (that is, 25,000 watts into the battery) would mean limiting the charging rate to less than 125 amps (in practice, I've mostly seen rates under 100).

25,000 volts into a 201.6 volt battery would be somewhat unreasonable.

Yes it's KW but still had no real answers as to what it should read when normal

-25 KW sounds about right, about 125 amps of charge, I don't think I've ever seen it go above that.

Did you have a reason for concern?

No "normal" value for KW regen. It varies while coasting, cold soak start up, brake pedal pressure & etc.
