is there a method to circulate air EXCLUSIVLY of outside air with NO AC or Hybred Heatpump involvement?

    Thank you.

Just having it set for outside it will circulate air in while driving with no fans on.

With the fan on, I guess the only way is to set the temperature to "Low". It's annoying that the heat pump can't be turned off otherwise. I like cold outside air sometimes.

You already have a thread about this. Circulate air without AC? | PriusChat

    Also,

The EV range calculation is really dumb. As far as I know, if the fan is on, it will show the same drop in range no matter if the AC is off or if you're blasting the heat or AC. And the "climate score" is dumb too. If you set the temperature to "low" you will get a bad climate score even if the AC is off. It's just based on the difference between inside and outside temperature, or something like that.

there is no 'exclusive record'. health dictates some outside air at all times.

I occasionally have to drive through the most polluted zip code in the US, so exclusive recirculation would be ideal there. There's a strong sulfur-y smell from the refinery, and it's much less strong with recirculate on before I pass by.

    Also,
Suncor oil refinery spews 8.5 tons a year of cyanide gas over low-income north Denver neighborhoods

Besides that I almost always just want fresh air with no heat or AC. I wish there was a way to bring that in without the thumping and wind noise and aerodynamic penalty of opening a window.

understood. there is an old thread here from someone who suffered from exterior pollution due to asthma or something. i don't recall a resolution unfortunately.

the gen 3 had a button that shuts off outside air for a few minutes. it's a nice feature when your behind a school bus or in a construction zone, etc.
