Red triangle, VSC, and !

    Was on the highway and the red triangle, VSC and circled explanation lights came on. Had enough time to get off the highway before I lost power.

    Now when I try to start I get this...

    The owners manual can tell you what each one of the those icons means.

    You will need to read the OBD2 codes (DTCs) and post them here for further help.

    If your car died while you were driving it, there's a high possibility you have a failed inverter pump

    I’m hoping that’s it. Dreading it is the hybrid battery.

    I ran out of gas last year and that was a similar experience to what happened yesterday. Is there a way the sensor in the gas tank could be off? My gauge showed a quarter tank.

    yes, there is a bladder in the tank which can cause gauge problems. put at least 3 gallons in to test it.

    Running out of gas would get you the same results. Make sure you put at least 3 gallons in your car to start it
