Anyone know of a sun shade (opaque, mesh or reflective tint) made to fit the rear/hatch glass of the Prius v wagon? TIA.

I’ve only found one on Amazon. No idea where the seller is (and there’s a lack of reviews). The rear hatch window is a “please contact us” part of the sale.

Thanks. Do you recall the vendor or have a link?

I found pre-cut and bulk static cling window film on Amazon by searching for "vehicle window film for kids". Some is labeled 5% which as dark as tint gets. I don't think it will harm the rear defroster wires but a tint shop owner I knew thought it could damage aftermarket tint if applied over it.

Looks like it could float an inverted v, too...

If you're looking for a window cover, you can buy the Heatshield rear window cover for $40 plus shipping. I don't think that specific piece is available in the PriusChat shop.

No experience with their products personally I’m afraid.

    Kunfine.

Although I guess if you were looking for one to use while parked, then Heatshield is the better option. I have had a Heatshield windshield sunshade on the Gen 2, 3, 4/Prime and my smart fortwo. They work really well and the quality is what you’d expect (I.e. not cheap eBay stuff)

Thanks! The laser shades are slick, but couldn't figure out how to order them from the linked vendor. I have an inquiry in with them.

If I have to order the entire set in order to get hold of the rear hatch screen, anyone want the front and/or rear side window sets?

Have a Daiso Japan near you? They had something (cheap) that I vaguely recall fitting nicely in there...

I'll bite, so what is a "Daiso Japan"?

Alright, my fault with my SoCal centric Universe! Sorry about that.

It’s a Japanese version of Dollar/$0.99 Store that I guess are just here. I’ll try to get one next time I go in and see how it fits.

    Are you in a rush?

I have a Daiso rear sunshade on mine Prime (bought it for the Gen 3 but the window wasn't wide enough. The Prime's window is wider). It's a basic oval shaped (almost like a track & field oval track shape).

Aha. Generic oval is not really what I'm looking for.
