    Hello everyone,

Yes this is correct, I was able to pick up a 2020 Prius prime limited last night from Bulford, GA. Its the Magnetic Gray color with black interior. Unfortunately the plug in battery wasn’t charged at all but surprisingly I had avg 56mpg from Atlanta GA to Wetumpka, AL last night. Averaging 75mph. I didn't top the tank off to see exactly what the real time mpg would of been but I'm going to assume the computer shows 3mpg better than actual. Which is really cool and similar to my 2016 Prius four touring, I had a few years ago. The Apple care play only works with the provided Apple cord, I tried using a cord my wife had that was aftermarket, but it didn't work.

I really like the Apple car play, it’s a little small on the upper part of the 11.6” screen but it’s unbelievably responsive! I currently have a 2007 Toyota Prius and last month I had a 2016 Chevrolet Corvette stingray, which had Apple car play. Maybe it was GM tech but the response time of the Apple carplay in the stingray seemed to lag.

The middle seat in the prime is nice, I wanted a five seater overall mainly due to my large Doberman. I wanted her to be comfortably in the back seat especially on long road trips.

I've included some pictures and I plan to make a video going over the features, likes, and dislikes. I have absolutely no buyers remorse!

I still had the husky floor liners from my 2016 Toyota Prius and as you can see one of the pictures, they fit perfectly!

    Congrats.
Not sure I'd jump in a zero time car a head out on a 75mph trip but I'm Old School I guess.

Does this mean Jim Moran is selling Prius in the SE District ?

Congrats on your new vehicle. All black interior does look much better. I envy you. ;) Is the "Limited" trim equivalent to the "Advanced" in earlier Prime models?

    Congrats.

Just curious, does album art display on the audio screen if you play music on your phone via Bluetooth? (assumes the song has embedded album art)

On the 2017-2018's, it only displays if you are in park with the E-brake on.

    Cool!! Congratulations.

I think they might be softening. I saw a 2019 Prime at Sun Toyota near me a couple weeks ago.

Congratulations on the 2020 Prius Prime. Did you add those floor mats from the accessory? Like the wheel.

I purchased these floor mats from Husky back in 2017 when I had my 2016 prius four touring. When I traded the vehicle in, I just put the original carpet mats back in, I figured I could sell these husky ones, which was false. So, I placed them in the attic and lord and behold they fit perfectly in the prime.

It seems to be exactly the same except for one detail, it wasn't that big of a deal to me. The 2020 prime comes with Entune 3.0 and it doesn't offer the mobile services like the 2017-2019 advance primes does. The remote climate start and adjusting your charging schedule through your phone. I called the entune 800 number to verify this.

I don't think so, picture attached of what it looks like playing just through Bluetooth, apple music.

    Congratulations!

Am I the only one that checks out other people driving Priuses (especially the Prime)?

Regarding the 5 seater thing you mentioned, I was looking at the interior of a prime recently at a dealership and it looks like the cup holders in the rear are attached to a big plastic panel under the seats. I was thinking if one wanted to convert the rear into a 3 seater, could the cup holder just be removed and re-upholstered?

Congrats on the new car :)

This sounds really great. How does the responsiveness compare to the phone's touchscreen?

Yikes, looks like I’m not going to upgrade. Never had more than 3 people in my car at once, but I use the heck out of remote climate and remote charging from my phone.

Remote climate has certainly made my life easier! Although my workplace has a covered parking garage, its narrow spaces are an invitation to dents & dings, so I park in the outside lot, far away from the oversized SUVs that squeeze into the garage. Being able to start the defroster before I leave my office lets me clear my windshield so much faster.

Wait! How do you start the defroster by your remote climate? The remote climate turns on the heat-pump for heating or cooling using traction battery only. The defroster requires the ICE to be turned on. AFAIK, the remote climate will not turn on the ICE under any circumstance.

Click the front or rear defrost buttons on the Remote Climate screen. Works just fine.

I don't have advanced model, so I don't have the smart phone app option. But if the app has the front defrost option, does it start ICE?

It directs max possible heat to the windshield without starting ICE. I also have the option to turn on the rear defroster remotely.

OK, so it is not the same as pushing the windshield defroster bottom on the dash? I guess, that means it will not function if the ambient temp is below 14F? I have tried the remote A/C function using just the fob with setting at max heat to use as defroster, but at temperature I often experience in the middle of winter when I really need help defrosting windshield, it did not do anything to help defrost or pre-warm the cabin.
