I'm still looking - PIAA is sold out of driver's side. 2018 Prius' seem to be almost impossible to get silicone blades from any brand - WTH is going on here - is this model and Albatross???

I didn't buy mine from PIAA directly. I bought them from an authorised stockist (UK here though). They still have them in stock, so there can't be that much of a shortage.

Dealer just replaced mine FOC at the service when I told them the drivers one was wobbling at the bottom end and had been since new.

    Hi!
I've read the other thread and did not see a link to the wiper blades. I could be wrong, but this forum doesn't allow hyperlinks. Do you happen to know the part numbers so I can Google it? Whenever I do a search on PIAA's site it results in zero matches for "Prius Prime Silicone Wiper Blades". Actually the only search results for "toyota" are parts/accessories for trucks.

EDIT: Alright, I did a search on PowerBulbs site and found 28"/16" silicone blades and will contact them to make sure the "F" adaptors come with.

Yeah sorry it was post #11 not #10. If I recall correctly, all wiper kits are meant to come with all adaptors. PIAA (directly) said there was a manufacturing issue and some kits went out without the F adaptors, but they should all have them now.

My factory originals are still working fine. If and when they get bad, I want another set just like these. ;)

Mine were wiping ok, just the longer one was wobbling at the bottom end and the new one still wobbles slightly. I think it's the design, they're not rigid enough and I'll probably go for a sturdier aftermarket brand when I need replacements.

My front wipers were maybe 2 years old when I replaced them. They probably didn't need it, but my motivation was to help maintain the Rain X (a silicone based rain repellent), as silicone wipers do build up a slight coating over a very long time that helps the rain run off. The OEM wipers were squeaking a bit due to the Rain X too, which was getting annoying.

I have just replaced my rear wiper at 2.5 years old, as the rubber was beginning to disintegrate - it had split about 2" along its length from both ends. That may have happened due to being stuck to the window that was iced over. It's bewildering why Toyota didn't extend the rear window heating element up enough to cover the full height of the window and wiper, but whatever, it is what it is.

I just got a Bosch H409 rear wiper, which seems identical to the OEM wiper in everything but name.

That's been my challenge with "beam" style wiper blades. They're just not rigid enough to not wobble. Which is too bad because in all other respects I believe they are the better design.

I eventually had to step down to the "conventional" style blades, with the metal holders, just to get the rigidity needed to make a full wipe cycle without wobbling/chattering.

Got the wipers from PIAA in the states. NOTE: the 16" blade did not come with correct adapter, but PIAA was kind to send one promptly - great company and product!!!

I'm a little concerned they will not have the "F" adaptors because of this note/warning on their silicone wipers...
"(NOTE: The PIAA Si-Tech Wiper Blade comes with two wiper arm adapters to ensure compatibility with a wide range of vehicles’ wiper attachment methods. Detailed instructions are provided – simply select the appropriate adapter and attach as demonstrated.)"

Notice it only says "TWO" wiper arm adaptors.
Has anyone had long term experience with these wipers? I have read/heard silicon wipers last some users 10 yrs before being replaced.

I would contact them and ask. Certainly when I bought mine a while back both wipers came with a bag full of maybe 5 or 6 adaptors.

My piaa have been working great for years now. If the adaptors don't come just contact piaa and they will send you them. I have a silblade for rear wiper and it's also been good. Only complaint is that the piaa adaptors aren't the most sturdy mount so they wiggle a little on occasion, it's not my favorite but I've never had a malfunction either and they wipe beautifully, the stock rubber just is awful in comparison.

My OEM wipers lasted perhaps a few months over 1 year. The Florida heat and sun must have did a number on them. I keep my wiper surfaces clean (more so than any other driver I've met), but they got to the point that them being clean, alone, wasn't helping anything.

Of course I wanted to go with the best reviewed wipers by ProjectFarm, but it seems that those wiper companies don't make wipers compatible with Gen4 Priuses. So I went with this:
"AERO Avenger 28"+16" Premium All-Season Beam Windshield Wiper Blades OEM Replacement for Toyota Prius 2020-2017 (Set of 2)"

Thus far I've been happy with them, but we aren't in the monsoon season right now. Nonetheless, it's nice to have a very clean windshield to look through again.

Honestly surprised yours lasted so long I feel like mine started becoming bad before that and I'm in illinois. Those look interesting, I have my doubts on rubber longevity though. After switching to silicone I honestly don't know if I'll ever go back, and at the rate they continue to perform I might never need new ones either.
