    We're still under the free toyota care oil changes, but the best time to buy something is when you don't need it - so you can take advantage of low prices as they are available.

    Thanks for the info. I did not need it for PRIME, but I needed 6 qts for my other Pathfinder Hybrid. FYI, currently Advanced Auto Parts has them on sale cheaper than Amazon @$5.99/qt or $35.94 for 6qts. After rebate, it will be $10.94 for 6 qts. That's a great deal. Better than 5 qts bottle of Mobil one with Mobil promotion, which usually comes to be ~$15 for a 5 quarts bottle. In any case for our Pathfinder needing 6 qts for an oil change, this was a much better deal than buying two 5 qts bottles.

    Sweet deal for 6 qts!

    I got the mobil deal from walmart when it was $22.88 (aft rbt $10.88) for the 5 qt jug. but yes, only 5 qt vrs the 6

    Yeah, and 1 qt bottle is much easier to pour than that giant 5 qts bottle. Plus if you don't need all 5 qts, easier to store the unused bottles.

    I found this via BITOG (bob is the oil guy) and users were saying that you had to purchase a case/box of 6 qts and not individual. That is why I went with Amazon and not AAP. Reviewing the rebate form it does seem pretty explicit. You may want to cancel and reorder to be safe...

    Oh, I see. Yes, now I read the small prints, it does say "Only case purchases of qualifying product in six (6) one (1) quart bottles qualify for this offer." Well, I already sent in the online rebate form. There really isn't any way to retract rebate submission or edit the submission. Oh, well, if they don't accept it, I will be out $25. It says 6-8 weeks for rebate to be received, so I guess, I won't know if my submission is accepted or not before the end of the rebate purchase period (ends 4/30).

    Ah bummer. Annoying technicality on this one. All the previous ones, and especially Mobil 1, rebates are 5qt jug or 5x single quarts.
