    Hello hybrid guys
    I hope you are fine!

    I have a magnificently prius one 2015
With 247.150 miles ( yess lotss miles and still alive no smoke no burn smells )

I never had problem with him, I do the maintenance ( full synthetic high mileage 0 20w Mobil 1 ), myself, always following the channel nutz and bolts on YouTube ( thanks guys. ). Also transmission ( atf ws fluid toyota fluid).

My question is about the oil, should I change the oil for get longer life engine?
    5 30w, 5 20w ?

    what do you recommend ?

    thanks guys

Stick with the 0-W20 High Mileage Mobil 1 as long as you're not having any issues. As I understand it, the "High Mileage" version has an additive that helps to swell the seals on high mileage vehicles to help prevent leaks. Don't switch to a regular full synthetic now, stay with what is working.

I would only do it if it burns oil

And the ones mentioned probably wouldn't make any difference anyway, since the viscosity difference is tiny.

It is generally accepted that once you start using "high mileage" oil, you should continue to use it.

And you failed to mention the most useful piece of information: How much oil does it use......over how many miles ?

In my opinion, engine oil is the least of your worries. As you catch up with the postings here about the EGR system (cooler, valve and intake manifold - and the PCV valve), you'll probably agree.

I use M1 HM 0W-20 too. It's cheap and easy to find. But any quality engine oil is OK. (There's currently a Pennzoil $25 rebate on 6 qts, for Amazon, Wal-Mart and Autozone? online purchases, for anyone interested)

Cleaned up that rebate link by removing iFrame and tracking.

$25 Back by Mail | Pennzoil

Be sure to read the fine print, and it states a "case" and not singles.
