Has anyone tried lowering their Prius and whether if they've had success? How's the ride? How do you like the way your Prius looks lowered vs stock? Images are helpful too...
I am curious about this since the Prius already has a very low nose (I scrape everything)

Check out the coilover, air, and camber threads in this sub forum. Ride will depend on spring/damper settings. Driveabilty on making the necessary suspension geometry changes. Rarely done correctly in my opinion.

Lowering your Prius is quite easy, the only challenge is that you have to take off your wiper assembly on the front.

Consider lowering springs, your ride quality will be better....

I’ve seen your Prius in Oceanside at the post office. Very clean.

Did you end up lowering it? I lowered mine on kyb shocks and struts with H&R springs. Keeps the rake and lowers it nicely for a daily driver. Still a comfortable ride. I helped a friend with his and used Tanabe coil overs. Pretty much the same process, just had to spend a little extra time dialing it in.

Either way, big improvement with handling and braking. Don’t forget to put in a TRD rear sway bar while you have it all apart. Really helps with the under steer.

    That all sounds great.

Please provide a link to your 2017 Prius Prime parts, many here on PriusChat will be interested.

    1) H&R Lowering Springs
    2) Front and Rear KYB's
    3) TRD Rear Sway Bar

sorry for the confusion. I did this to my 2013 PiP. The 2017 Prime is stick still. My wife drives that one and won’t let me modify it.

Made the rear wider and got the new 4-inch flare to go with it
