    Thanks for the 2 links,

Is this is a problem that happens a lot ? Apparently 100k miles is a suggested life of the sensor ..
o2 sensors fail in time .. the car is 15 yrs old, if while driving in flash flood storm condition, water got up on that sensor would it short out and/or cause heater of the sensor to burn out ?

We can see the a/f wideband sensor at the bottom of ex. mani., - looks to be in tact and in order, but
the connector to the harness would be nice to see ...
Thumbnail shows the pre-cat , oxygen sensor #2 which appears to be 'ok' ..
Removing the connector to check the sensor and heater resistances is the way to check for shorts/opens ...

Yes, it turns out that using the same google account u bought the app, u can install that on your upgrade device .. (though i have no idea which acct that was cause i havent found the phone it was installed on yet)

I have a newer occurrence: getting that sort of annoying 'mailbox truck exhaust sound' from the prius, used to
be quiet, now has the slight buzz of a leaking exhaust somewhere ..

on 2nd gen prius, anyone know of the popular place for the exhaust to be gen opening up, could be due to clogged cat ?
    1) manifold to engine 2) manifold to pre-cat 3) pre-cat to cat 4) cat gets a hole ?

no salt intro to this car so the environment is cleaner , guess the sure way is to get under it while its running ...

while trying to loook up about failed rear running lights, utube brought up the 'stuttering engine' issue - a nice guy with 300kmiles on his prius clock discussed how he replaced coils and noticed one of the silicon O-rings missing on #4 .. and thet when he blew out the plug well with compressed air, water came out, -- i did the same today and my #3 had water in it .. since i had a new set of iridium denso's awaiting install , i cleaned the wells (only 3 had the water) and installed the new plugs 156 in-lbs torque, would be a good idea to put a dab of thread sealer, and start her up , making funny noises, -- stop and do it agoin, getting a little better, clear codes had p0000 and p2026? after codes cleared went , nice hum, .. went for drive .. no problems, no engine light .. made another stop. came home, all the way 10 min each way ? no stuttering, that was the problem , the oring was missing and some stupid person (myself?) decided to clean the engine compartement one day (had i been drinking?) .. -- those things are important to proper engine operation below 2000 rpm !!
    *******************************
u knew things wouldn't last too long, well at least the engine is running normally, (oh i forgot to mention that my oil fill cap was off and sitting on the valve cover with oil up there , that will make a bad day of driving for the crankcase ventilation) ..
so yeah, engine is alot happier topped off with fresh oil .. however ...

the P0000 came back after some more run time ...
    which is " Camshaft Position 'A' Actuator Circuit Bank 1 " ok .... ??

P0000 is not a valid Prius code.

You can always side load on an android, if you're comfortable with that sort or thing.
Yes, do try to retrieve the valid DTCs with Torque or Techstream.

Where in techstream did it crash on you, or what is being displayed when it crashes?
