    No but I know what good electronic design IS.

    So.....let's try this:
    Unless you have a plugin model AND the first thing you do after "reconditioning" is plug it into the wall..............

    What is the first significant event that happens with the HV battery ??
    It is NOT charging, because there is no charging source.
    It IS a fairly heavy dis-charge to start the gas engine.
    So if the battery fails upon it's first use, it is much more likely that it is the OUTFLOW of current that triggered the failure, not an inflow of charging current.
    Make sense ?
