Exhaust Flange gasket

    Is it a good idea to replace the gasket when you do the spring bolts?

    Yes but only if you don’t want an exhaust leak.

    It’s not only a good idea, as @edthefox5 kindly mentions, but it’s also specified in the Repair Manual (more info), which shows the gaskets with the ● symbol, indicating “Non-reusable parts.”

    The gasket part numbers, per catalog Figure 17-02, Exhaust Pipe, are 17451-21060 for the connection to the exhaust manifold and 17451-23010 for the connection to the tailpipe assembly.
