Have a 2012 Prius that has the driver side rear toe out of alignment. This car has rear disc brakes and I’m looking for how best to correct the problem. I’ve read that a shim can be used behind the wheel bearing, but what about on the brakes? Any help would be very much appreciated.

I questioned this method, the Fit uses the same rear beam.

You should check to see what is bent.
If it is off, it's either bent or broken.

The shims are readily available, and are the accepted method for correcting rear toe. Any competent shop should be able to do it.
