Seats

    Hello, 1st time on forum, great info.
    I own 2, 2010 (240+miles) and 2004 (215). Kids drive them. I am a school teacher by trade, but also have an upholstery business on the side. Vinyl, canvas, for cars and boats.
    2004 has stained, nasty seats. Will make new seats skins over Christmas break. Not a cover, but factory like skins. My question to all of you is simple. Is there a market for this work? Thinking of making these and selling on eBay. Can obviously do any color or combination of colors. Have seen used ones, but not in any better condition that what I have. What do you all think? Thanks

    I think I would do ok selling at $125 for seat bottom, $150 for seat back. Color scheme makes no difference, still sew the same amount. Again like factory, not a cover. Thanks for the reply. Will post picture when I get my daughter's made

    I'd like to see the results. I'm not in the market myself, but like seeing what people can come up with. My wife is pretty amazing with a sewing machine herself, but I don't think she'd want to tackle something that curvy-twisty and precise. Clothing seems like it's a little more forgiving.

    Your fast approaching the price on Wet Okoles which have been in my car for 13 years. Think they were $300 for the set.
    You will not beat there quality and color selection best seat cover ever
    Extremely tough cover.

    But yours are cheaper so never know.
