    Hi all,

I have a 2017 Prius C Three and am wanting to change the startup and display off images correctly/with the proper size to fit the screen. I have them on there and can change the images easily, however, I can't seem to find what the resolution in pixels is to get the correct aspect ratio and have the image display on the entire screen with no black gaps.

I've googled and have found brochures, but nowhere lists the actual pixel resolution.

    So, what is it?

    Thanks

    Usually they're VGA (640x480)

    Hey~!

Thanks for the reply, but I tried it and there are large gaps on the left and right.
I have it at 768x480 and that seems to be as close(or it may be correct) I can get.
There are still two black/blank space gaps on the sides at that resolution, but it's almost the entire screen—which could be that is the correct resolution and the screen just has those gaps by default.

try 885x530. I found that resolution suggestion on a Tundra forum.

I wasn't aware this was something we could do (though not too surprised). Where is the documentation for that? Done through TechStream?

    This worked perfectly, thank you!

This is the post I found on this forum that details what you need to do: How to customize the Splash Screen | PriusChat

Here is the rundown regardless: "The Image has to be a JPG or JPEG image up to 10MB. On your home PC, you create TWO files on a USB thumb drive, one called "StartupImage" and "DisplayOffImage" (Both Case sensitive). You put the files (images) that you want, inside the "StartupImage" folder. You then go to your Prius and plug into the USB port. You then go into Setup -> General -> Customize Startup Image."

Your thumb drive will need to be formatted as FAT32—which is easy to do if you look up how depending on your computer's OS(Mac, Linux, Windows).
