    Hello,

I am moving out of the US and I am selling my winter wheel set to my neighbor that has a PP the same color as me... the wheels cost me ~1000 USD and have two winters on them, ~7-8000 miles of careful driving. What is a fair price that I can sell them? I do not want to make an unfair profit, I just need some info of what could be a fair price.

    Thanks!!!

Are they OEM wheels? If so, the demand may be higher, thus you can price them higher. Any price you put and buyer is willing to pay for them is a fair price. It's pure supply and demand at work. But, if your objective is to sell quickly, then start at half the price of what you paid.

$1k for winter tire rims will be difficult to recoup. When i acquired winter tires/rims in 2010, it was Corolla black/steel rims for $70 CDN apiece and Michelin X-Ice for roughly $150 apiece.

selling after two winters use, $400 would be a good opening price, and I might let them talk me down to $350,

funny thing, I’m STILL using that set. I may be nuts, but 11 years later the tires have no cracking, and about 7/32” tread depth remaining. I may go one more year.

I'm not sure, but you may want to refer to the prices on classified ads that you will find all over the internet.
