    Good evening,

I recently purchased a 2017 Toyota Prius Two Eco and love the car, however when I received the car I noticed a connector wasn’t connected to anything. This connector is located behind the front bumper and is coming off the main wiring right next to connector to the radar sensor. I’ve spend tons of time trying to figure out where this goes with no luck. Does anyone have any idea what this goes to? There is a image attached for clarification Thanks!

How many pins or metal contacts? The horn harness is around that area and there are 2 horns to accommodate for 2 different tones. Test your horn.

It may not connect to anything - I've had cars with stray connectors - in place for options. I had an A/C installed, I think in a Daihatsu?? about 1990, the installer said - "good, the wiring is all there".

It has 6 pins it’s right between both horns which are each connected to two different 2 pin connectors. I’ve even went to Toyota and they couldn’t tell me what it is. At this point I think the only way to figure it out is to look at another Prius and compare.

It’s connector BA1, shown in the Electrical Wiring Diagram (more info) and described in this previous thread: Extra connector on engine harness | PriusChat

One other thing from your photo, in case you weren’t aware: the white label on the bumper reinforcement and the bright-green cable tie, neither original from Toyota, suggest that the car has been damaged and repaired.

My wife has your same car, 2017 Prius 2...has been a great car so far! We drove it to Maine and back from Colorado and spent $200 on gas, total!
If you were to remove the cover underneath the dash in the front, you'll also find unused white connectors which is what you tap into for power if you buy the illuminated doorsills from Toyota. Very convenient.

It could be the connector to the sensor for the upgraded adaptive cruise control, which is embedded in the emblem in the higher trim models.
