Turtle uphill and Hybrid system overheat... please help

    Well like i said. It runs smooth. Did the same earlier. The test will be on mountains where the car needs every bit of power. Will check and let u people know

    I think the previous japanese owner did... there were quite a number of hair removed from the fan

    Has anybody here ever used engine oil to grease up the motor/ bushes? My mech wanted to do that but i did not agree as it is very close to the HV battery. Your comments please

    The battery should not really get so warm when going uphill.
    More when breaking / accelerating like on a road with many roundabouts

    But you should always keep the fan clean.
    And lubed. I don't see how oil could interfere with the battery

    Motor oil has metal additives in it that are conductive. IMHO it would short the brushes and cause a fire. If lubing the fan, I'd first clean out the old lube and replace it with new Toyota dielectric lube.

    If he wants to do more, instead I'd have him install a filter on the battery air intake. There's a Toyota part number floating around here somewhere on PC.

    Turned out there was air in the cooling system. I removed the temperature sensor and pressed the different pipes on different occasions. At one time i removed the sensor and turned on the engine. Be ready for coolant spill
