Oil Catch Can

    I went back and looked at the pics and now get the reference to the new manifold. It had me wondering what was wrong with the old Prime OEM one :notworthy:
    It looks like a bit (understatement) of work getting the OCC in there. :)
    thanks for the post, it helped me figure out where I went wrong and misunderstood. :)

    Getting to the PCV valve was a bunch of work:cool:.

    Given how little the Prime engine runs in my case, I was surprised the last time to find several ounces of spooge:eek:.

    But that's why the can is there(y).

    I just installed my oil catch can today. It took about 2 hours, if I have to go back and redo it. It might take me, 45 minutes to an hour. I also cleaned my EGR tube, throttle body, and intake manifold. I was told by Hybridpit, the prime is not as bad as the 3rd gens. But I want piece of mind.

    Maybe @RightOnTime will chime in and give us some of the data they have collected:).

    Not sure how many Primes or Gen4's that have higher miles have passed through there, but more data is helpful(y).
