So I got something, pushing the drivers tire assembly back towards the rear of the car. There is a triangular hunk of metal that holds the tire up that's twisted and needs replacing (control arm?). I'm hoping someone can tell me which main parts I need to swap to get it driving again.

Any help is greatly appreciated. It's as 2010 fwiw

I'm also trying to find a silver driver's fender, headlight assembly n a painted bumper cover - I've gotta get it going quick as I will lose my job if I can't drive to n from work! I'm in the So Cal area... 20220226_154134.jpg 20220226_154134.jpg 20220226_154123.jpg

This looks very similar to an accident my brother got into. His car was totaled. The insurance explained the car structure is damaged, will be hard to put on the headlight. His was a 2005

The suspension looks all broken, you may be able to get a "knee assembly" from a junk/wrecking yard. That consist of the strut, spring, spindle, lower control arm. It's a complete unit for $150 to $200. But you have the body portion to worry about, it won't be cheap to fix

Thanks for the advise - the strut does seem to be leaking near the top. I have to figure out the body stuff too - I can't afford slot right now

    Anyone else have suggestions???

Suspension damage, body damage, probably frame bent, also a lot of force applied to the transaxle.

    I also believe it's a total loss.

Most of the metal can be bent with levers and hammers DIY style... But if the frame is bent, specifically where the control arm mounts, you're gonna need an auto shop to put it on their frame straightening rigging, which would be a costly setup to create on your own.

Lower control arm, steering rack and pinion. (I reused my LCA but yours looks bent. Probably good to replace both sides at that mileage). May need rear carrier/subframe. Lots of labor but there is hope. The bottom is a lot more modular than one would think.

Looks like you need tie rods. Can’t really see them but they appear broken. I would replace both sides inner and outer tie rods and get an alignment. If you need lower control arms I have some used ones and a front sway bar from a 2010 prius I would give away in 92679. Also inverted coolant appears low.

Hi - i actually working in Rancho Santa Margarita ;-) I am trying to get all these possible parts together today. I have no idea if this will work - but I will lose my job if I don't fix it... Thanks!

If your job depends on whether or not you can fix this car, you may want to sell this cheap and buy a running car as quickly as possible. I know a person selling a 2008 Corolla for $3000, running and driving.

Oh, a company car? Pretty sure you need the rear carrier/subframe (sigh) the lower control arm rear bushing looks like it bent it, (upon closer inspection of the pics you provided)...
