ECM replacement and reprogramming?

    Funny thing the engine finally started running on its own. It sounded terrible at first then smoothed out and the cam error went away now it’s a misfire in #4 cylinder & bad water pump. I’m guessing the engine was sitting in a wharehouse soo long that it was gummed up and needed to work itself out to improve responses to the ECU perhaps? Just an idea

    If the car runs, then good. I wouldn't be too sure that everything is 100%, as anything being "gummed up" (ie, some form of mechanical malfunction) wouldn't trigger a bunch of circuit codes (indicating electrical faults). Time will tell.

    Yeah there were two breaks in the wire harness right where the wires go into the top of the connector when was the injector the other one was the cam sensor they broke past the wire where you couldn’t really see them.
