I had the same problem I just used a spring compressor while it was on the car. Once I lowered it down there is like 2 inches of clearance between the cv shaft and the subframe. I believe in time the spring will compress slightly from wear and all should be fine. (y)

I did not take any pics of me applying the spring compressors and no I did not know there were spacers available. What I have works just fine as there is like 2 inches of clearance once the car is sitting back down on the wheel but by all means please post a link to said spacers if there is a better way I will certainly do it. Hello, I want to put these on my 05 gen 2. Will this be a option for me and do I need to purchase spacers too or I will be ok with just the complete struts assembly from eBay? Thank you for your help

I went with the cheaper spacers from E-Bay and the Pontiac Vibe springs on mine. The spacers are nice and I am up like 5" from where it was with the spring/spacer combo but the passenger side cv axle touches the A-arm when jacked up off the ground. It is fine when lowered and I just completed a 10k mile trip with my build in November 2022 with no issues. The guy from Prius Overlanding said he was working on a-arm spacers to negate this problem. Good luck and feel free to ask any additional questions. (y)

I'm in like $600 or so on my build that 3,100 price tag for that air system seemed a bit much and where do you put the tank and compressor and all that?

New KYB all around and only the previous spec'd rear lifting springs we used, not the new spec's. We are thinking 2" strut topper lift in the front next for this one. with the build inside and cargo on the top is guesstimated additional 600lbs load with all the precious cargo.
