2010 Prius sideswipe accident now when trying to start it says check hybrid systems

    I lost control during a rainstorm and sideswiped another vehicle. Airbags deployed and front bumper came off. Try to start and it says check hybrid systems. Is it the airbags or some wires cut during the bumper falling off

    i looked into replacing the air bags so i could drive it anyway. is it possible that the fuel cutoff needs to be reset? does a 2010 prius have 1? and if so where would it be located

    Do you have an OBD reader? Scan the car with Dr Prius app to actually see the issue

    Sorry. Thought I had answered but ..yes I do and I downloaded the app. Having the car towed here tomorrow. It's currently all the way across town. Hard to get transportation to get me there

    when airbags deploy... you need to have a new srs module thats under the center console replaced or reprogrammed in order to drive the vehicle. After my accident, I bought a used one and now working to clear the original module and keep it in the car with me in case something happens again and the bags deploy, ill be able to swap the module and continue driving.
