Can you help with this please, what is the bottom warning light means?
I am working on 2014 Toyota Prius V 214K miles, it's the only light I am getting, no other warning light, I have a good scanner, do I need to scan the hybrid system or other systems?
    Thanks

Hybrid System Warning light. Yes you need a hybrid compatible code reader.

Thank you, I have a good scanner, I will have it scanned tomorrow

Or, you have a scanner, you will have it scanned tomorrow, and that's when we'll know if it's a good scanner or not. :)

Some of them won't show you the codes behind Prius hybrid system warnings.

The code is P0AA6 the sub codes are 526 614, I am getting code for the AC system which not working B1498, the engine has been changed lately.

High voltage isolation code sometimes the hv battery if unskilled hands have been in there, the inverter, cabling or reportedly the ac connector.

Thank you, the vehicle starts and runs fine, the only issue is AC system, fans are not coming on neither the AC compressor, I think I am going to try to fix the AC system first and see if it will fix both issues.

This picture is for a Gen 2; Gen 3 is mostly the same. The 614 area is the "high-voltage DC area", which includes possibilities from a few of the components on the load side of the battery relays, through the frame wire to the front of the car, and most of what's in the inverter box, except for the smidgen that falls in the 613 transaxle area.

The one important change from Gen 2 to Gen 3 for this has to do with how the A/C is powered. Gen 2 had an A/C inverter inside the inverter box, sending three-phase AC to the A/C compressor. (I wish I could write that sentence without so many ACs and A/Cs in it.)

In Gen 3, high-voltage DC goes to the compressor, and the inverter that makes the AC to turn it is inside the compressor itself. Because of that, in Gen 3, the 614 high voltage DC area also includes the orange wires from the inverter to the compressor, and a portion of the compressor itself, and the 611 A/C area shrinks to only be inside the compressor itself.

So looking into the power-to-the-compressor issue here really might be the right call for this set of codes.

Very interesting information, thank you so much, I am going to start with the AC 40A fuse, is there a special way to test it?

If you can scare up a copy of the P0AA6-614 troubleshooting instructions for Gen 3, they'll suggest a good sequence and procedure for testing.

It is not about fuses, it is literally high voltage leakage to chassis. The hv dc is isolated from chassis on plus and minus except in your car. At least when the code was set. Have you tried clearing codes?

I cleared it several times, it comes back right away, except one time it came when I turned the AC, that’s why I think it may have something to do with AC system, the vehicle runs fine, the voltage of all hybrid cells look fine.

A lot of people with these isolation codes talk about looking at battery block voltages. Battery block voltages are of interest for other sorts of problems. An isolation fault isn't about those.

I worked on today, here is new thing I have found, every time I start the vehicle the AC code comes up right away the B1498, and about a 30 seconds later the hybrid code comes up the P0AA6, now when I unplugged the the AC compressor, the high voltage and the black harness at the top, only the AC code comes up but the hybrid code, I am thinking there a short in the AC compressor, what do you think.

    Sounds like a reasonable inference.

Could be the plug that goes into the Compressor...... Gently pull the glug off and inspect it and the Compressor Pins....
    Look VERY Cafefully..... Close
Water can also get in there and ruin the connection.... have to have a new compressor if that happens
