Low idle for a second or two upon startup?

    2013, headgasket replaced, EGR, injectors, intake manifold all cleaned.
    Upon startup after sitting for a few days, idle will very slightly stumble and sit at 800rpm for a second, then jump to the normal 1200rpm.
    No intake can VVT rattle.
    Any startup after that does the regular high idle smoothly.


    Is this normal?

    At what miles was the head gasket replaced, and what's the miles now?

    145,000. Miles now are 145,020
    Just replaced 20 miles ago

    So hot on the heels of a big repair, good to know. Lot of things may have been missed. Shop did the repair?

    Did it myself. Very meticulous with everything- I’ll drive it another few hundred miles and recheck if the problem persists.
