The windshield shade that I used with my last car has more of a rectangular shape that doesn't seem to fit the more square shape of the prius due to the long raked windshield. There is some exposed dash towards the front if its pulled up enough to be held in place by the visors. Curious what sun shade those here are using to get the best coverage on the windshield.
I went with Windshield Sun Shades, Car Window Shades and Car Window Covers by HeatShield: The Original Windshield Sun Shade great coverage, but is a bit annoying to roll up
I use this one. Not the most compact when folded up, but does a great job covering the windshield and folds up easily.
I used the same shield as Pascalvin and does keep interior of Prius a lot cooler when parked outside Recommend it
I prefer the folding version of the AutoHeatShield model TT-928. (Can't link to it since I'm too new.) It's pricey at $71 but I've been very happy with the accordion fold (compared to rolling the others). Heat rejection is also excellent in my experience.
Previously had AutoMate Pro Custom Fit Windshield Foldable Sunshade for 2023 Toyota Prius Hatchback. Cut it up to use for panoramic glass. Worked well but it was kind of big even when it was folded up. Just purchased this KMF 6pcs Full Window Sun Shades Custom Fit and arriving on Saturday. The KMF sun shades fold up a lot more compactly according to the photos and comes with shades for the side windows and hatch glass.
