I have the Opportunity to buy a Doctor Prius Battery with new cells, about three years old. Can anbody tell me anything about this company? The Wed site is under construction and there no information about them on line. The Price is right just about to the point its at least a good core.

A few more details, including the physical address and the website address, would help determine to which company you're actually referring.

if it is lithium, search the threads here for the failure rate and causes.
what do you mean by 3 years old with new cells? new cells from nexpower?

Do not buy a Used aftermarket lithium pack for Prius.

    That's it.

    Don't do it.

Bought it for $500. All the cells Within .002 volts

Hopefully I didn't get taken. I guess the place is out of Tennessee. The guy bought from talk to owner of the company was Ukraine.

Looks like a standard OEM Toyota pack made my Panasonic... You can discover date of manufacture for each module using this chart:

looks like one of the many aftermarket battery rebuilders. $500. for new cells is a great deal, all the best.

nice, you paid 500 bucks for a battery that has modules with F (2004) and Q (2015) date codes. What a mix.......

Hopefully, they're at least well balanced with each other, capacity wise. Hope it works out for you.

If you consider 2004 and 2015 modules to be new................I'm under the impression that a date code of F (2004) is about 21 years old and a date code of Q (2015) is about 10 years old.
