Hi folks new to the forum. Just bought a 2026 se hybrid. Finding the driver seat uncomfortable as I suffer with bad back pain. Wondering if others have had the same issue. Thanks

Not sure if your SE gives you full power seat controls, I got a tip once from my chiropractor to raise up the front lip of the seat, which kind of lifts the default position of your knees and I guess relieves lower back pressure. This is not the height of the entire seat, but just the height of the very front part of the seat. My XLE also has lumbar support so when I'm having back issues, I also adjust that part of the seat.

There's all kinds of products you can put on a car seat to make it more comfortable. As always with back issues get details on what your doctor, physical therapist and chiropractor think will work best for you.

Seats for me are fine. It's the fact that they stain VERY VERY EASILY.

Like water will cause a stain.

Three years in, no problems with seats. I've done 10-15hr trips in basically one sitting and finished with energy to keep going. (only stops for restrooms and gas+quick food) In my previous gen3, I was completely worn out after similar trips. I'm sure a big part of that has to do with the gen5 driving aids, but still...

Original set of seat covers were perfect when I replaced them last fall. Current set came out of a wrecked car and are also perfect. (I swapped my black Limited softex seat covers with the softex covers from a Prime XSE so I could have the red accents to match my red paint.)

I use a small extraction carpet cleaner with heat if I ever have to clean a serious stain. I also keep the P&S carpet cleaning system on hand, which also works on upholstery. You start with their Terminator enzyme cleaner to break down organic stains, follow up with their Carpet Bomber cleaner to break down everything else. Then I do an extraction with a little bit of clean water to get everything out of the carpet/upholstery. The final step is their Finisher, which uses peroxide to do a mild form of what an ozone machine does. It's about $35 for all three bottles(1 pint of each), but it goes a long, long way.
