    now it would be awesome if you modified your prius to be driven using your ps2 controller! Awesome mod though with your ps2 and the prius

    Thanks! But that's for the rear screens?? I was hoping for the front MFD one. Or is the setup similar, just without the multiple items shown in your diagrams but simply a series setup?

    The most recent one is for the rear LCD's... the other one is for the front (MFD) only. The only part that the explanation is missing is :

    Run the wires from the PS2 into the input selector switch. run the output from the output to the lockpick MFD.

    in the recent guide, i realize not that I input into the MFD is assumed to be through the lockpick.

    I didn't include any guide to the installation of the lock pick because the one from coastal tech is so good. (and there's a good video on here too)

    did that clear anything up or add to the confusion?

    Well lemme write out what I think needs to be done and you can correct me as needed, how's that?

    PS2 (1)--> inverter (2) --> Power Plug

    PS2 (3)--> video converter (4)--> MFD

    (1) supplied PS2 2-prong power cable
    (2) supplied inverter 12V power cable
    (3) supplied PS2 RCA cable
    (4) now this one I need an RCA-RCA cable?

    I think I may be missing something cause it seems like you have more wires than what I've listed above

    do you have the Lockpick installed? If so, it has an RCA input on it. The ps2 is an output so you just plug these two together.

    K.I.S.S. ;)

    Nice....

    So have you thought of putting in the logitech GT Force feedback steering wheel and playing Gran Turismo 4 with it? Then you can pick the Prius and drive a simulated Prius while riding in a real prius... :D

    Cool Setup! I want to get the lockpick for my car... But I think I would put the rear monitors in the headrests instead of having them off the center console.

    I originally wanted to put them in the headrests, but have you ever looked at the back of the pri headrests??? They're really little. The monitors i have are a 5.9 inch vertical (on the definite smaller side) and even these little guys wouldn't fit in! THe measuerments are 5.75x4.25, they come with an flush mounting which increases the outside length to 6.5 inches.

    This just puts the corners over the edge of the headrest and I didn't want that... so I stuck them on the console.

    You mean to tell me you don't have a lift kit? i thought that this was a standard option now

    whats the deal with the different lockpick price options? i don't get it, even after reading what they each had to say...

    $99 and $299 is a big difference. i need to make sure i can get that basic $99 model. i'm confused. i think i need the $299 model as i have nav, the JBL's, and a back-up camera.

    but then they have a $229 model that says CLICK THE BUTTON BELOW IF YOUR 2006-2008 PRIUS IS THE BASE MODEL WITHOUT
    NAV, JBL AUDIO OR FACTORY REAR VIEW CAMERA

    so when would you order the $99 model? :confused:

    A motor trimmer could make the headrests wider while they made a recess for the monitor.

    Yeah I don't understand the differences between the lockpicks either. Does anyone have a better understanding and can explain it to us?
