AstroIII Travels

We love long distance road trips and take turns catching sleep in the back. Other favorites are weekend camping / boondocking getaways. With our Prius, you can be off grid and out of bounds in comfort. Our method is to put our gear in a tent and sleep in the back of the Prius. The Prius provides our tunes and power for lights and accessories as well as a snug secure, climate controlled sleeping cabin. Set up with a Coleman Outfitter camp kitchen, stove and 5gal portable and we are all set. All the gear fits easily in the back and is pulled out for setup, making for roomy sleeping. Favorite spots include the byways of Arizona and Utah with a shout out to the Madison valley in MT between Three forks and Ennis. We hit West Yellowstone last winter for the challenge of it with three feet of snow and cables on the front tires. It was awesome and the car heater kept us warm all night. Excellent Travels
