    I rely on my car to haul, well, everything. The Prius V without the rear seats is very roomy, but plywood, lumber, ladders, beams, etc....

    Yup. Not a doubt about it. If the car 'stays fixed' for a year - then your 'car payment' is less than $170 a month. You'll have to fix...
