The oil and filter technology is getting better thus requiring less frequent changes. I ran Amsoil in my truck for 15k mile intervals.

Also, if you have the Nav system, cruising range shows up when you press the Car button. Does this number update as the car gets better avg mpg?
Mine were around 40/38. I was surprised to see that when I checked the pressure tonight.
