      Hi PriusDog, I actually have no experience with the seat covers myself...I found the video while googling for more information on them. As far as the air bags are concerned, it's my understanding that they are built into the side bolster closest to the door in each front seat. If you look you can see the SRS logo on the bolster. If that's the case then I would assume that a seat cover that supports the airbags would have to have some kind of breakaway seam that would allow them to operate.

      Congrats on your Prius...I bought my first one 3 weeks ago (a silver III)!

      Cpatch. I am PriusDog, NEW to PriusChat, and even forums like this. Love this site. Just bought my FIRST Prius, a black 2010 Prius II. Thanks for posting the UTube video, as I was wondering about the seat covers. I still am not sure if covering the front seats will inhibit the airbags. Are they actually in the seats themselves? It was hard to tell from the Owner's Manual. BTW, I love Carlsbad. Try to get there as often as I can.
