On Saturday, Sept 9, I topped off my fuel tank on my Prius Prime for the FIRST time since I bought the car. I have about 2,500 miles on the car, and I still had almost HALF A TANK when I topped it off! Obviously, I am doing a lot of charging and electric driving, which is the whole point. I love this car. Its 12 driving modes (!) are probably too geeky for most people. But for me it's perfect. Storage may be curtailed, but I use the car almost entirely for 1 or 2 people, with back seats down and more than ample hauling capacity. Occasionally, a 3rd person will ride when I am not hauling stuff. I am tempted to get the new Toyota spare tire retrofit for Prius Prime, and if I do, I will post pictures.
