The other 10% I haul bags of mulch, dirt and heavier stuff. So there are occasional times it will need to hold 150-160 lbs
Pedals and handlebars get caught in the vertical part and the wheel doesn't roll well over the vertical part either.
That's what I did in my previous 2010 Prius with a level deck. Now the fore and aft dropoffs are a PITA to load and unload the bike.
That will work great, thank you! 90% of the time I roll my bicycle in to the back and keep spare stuff like inner tubes and tools underneath
Just sent off the last of the batch Wed! I'll be making more in 3-4 weeks. What model Prius do you have, and how do you plan on using the spacer? If you don't plan on running a thin sheet of plywood beneath the carpeted cover for sleeping on or carrying heavy loads I'd consider continuing the upper ribs continuously from front to back in order to prevent sagging under weight. Let me know and im happy to accommodate!
Hows it going! Im getting ready to put in and order for metal tomorrow and wanted to see if I should sign you up for a cargo spacer? Once the metal comes in I should have them finished and ready to ship within 1-2 weeks. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Prius Offroad! This excites me greatly! I just saw this and hope I am not too late to get in on the build. Do you take Paypal?
