Okay, thank you!!
Oh gosh!! D: I will try to find a muffler shop asap. I just got back from over the mountain and the CO detector never went off. Bad burning smell...
Already replaced the air filter, it was really gross when I was working on getting to the EGR pipe. Okay, I'll look into replacing the A/C filter...
Okay, so an update... - Driving for 20 minutes or less has yet to set up the CO detector. I haven't driven over the mountain to Charlottesville...
August 2014: * REPLACE "PCV" VALVE. NOTE: PRICE DOES NOT APPLY TO 5.7 LITER V8 ENGINE., , , LUBE, OIL AND FILTER CHANGE - SYNTHETIC, - MISC...
I have nooo idea... But on my way home (after I had originally planned to stop by Walmart to pick up a detector), I could really smell something....
Ah. I should have known I would have to invest in a stand.
Okay, thank you so much! Where are the specific places I need to check?
Okay. Should I do all of that myself, or just have a shop do it? Yep. I've been getting dizzy/confused/headaches and occasionally it gets harder...
Cool, you're in VA as well! Oh dear, I hope it's not the battery too. Yea, a dealership and service/parts center.
Alright, I'll keep an eye on it then. What do you think may be causing the CO leak?
Nope, nothing. One tech suggested that I change to premium oil without ethanol. But that same tech also said that the Prius doesn't have an EGR pipe.
Okay, thank you so much for your input! I will make sure to get that done then.
No, I haven't. And I'm not sure when they were last changed, I bought my car used at 135k miles.
Alright, you all are my last hope... I have been to 5 different maintenance centers, and they have all told me the same thing: Nothing is wrong....
