Previous car was a 2002 Civic. It was getting a bit long in tooth so when a friend offered me his 2012 Prius for $7000 I jumped on it. He was moving to Chicago where he wouldn't need a car. The dealership would give him $7k for it so he offered it to me for the same. Upside was he bought 4 new tires before he sold it to me. It's been a great car with little trouble.
I'm a retired widower now so I'm taking advantage of the great mileage to travel the lower 48. Car camping is a real thing in a Prius. I bought a Habitent, and made a few mods to allow sleeping inside. My 63 year old body doesn't do well sleeping on the ground.
More modifications for prime Prius dwelling are in the works. Looking forward to learning from the experience of others and sharing what I've done with my Prius.Interact
