    2005 Prius, base model. Current mileage 163k. Bought dead as a doorknob at 148k miles in 2021.

    2021
    Reconditioned the HV battery with RC battery charger plus 8 used replacements, replaced HV battery harness, used BCM from junkyard - old stuff suffered from the moisture/corrosion and being left sitting for a long time by previous owner; new front brakes and hubs/bearings; replaced inverter water pump; replaced the combination meter with one from Texas Hybrids; installed a Sony XAV-AX3250 for Apple Car Play compatibility plus remote steering wheel control ASWC-1 converter plus SiriusXM module - works great; added a backup camera; and a Cat Armor cat protector from Toddsgaragewebsite.

    2023
    At 163k miles, the red triangle of death reappeared, and I simply drove a different car for a year.

    2024
    I culled some bad modules, float charged with a MaxxVolts charger, and we're off to the races again as a daily driver.
