As long as it is 5x100 lug pattern it will fit. Lots of 3rd gen wheels on 2nd gens. I think the 2nd gen wheel is the lightest weight, however....
So 16.26 minus 15.87 is .32 roughly. So in fact the 15 inch disc would pretty much fully cover the wheel .
