How did you do it? Do you have pix? I like the idea that they are invisible.

Did we ever talk about this Product Diagnosis Menu menu? I cant remember if we did or not and I'm not finding anything about it. There is no NAV override in this menu but I would like to know what some functions are.

To access this screen you do the same dance as before to get to the diag menu, top left, bottom left, top left, bottom left, top left bottom left, then press menu, then press the very top left corner of the screen then the very right bottom corner of the screen.

    The options are...

Drive Recorder ( What does this do )
Touch SW Adj. ( Adjust the touch of the touch screen )
Calibration ( Calibrate the touch of the touch screen )
Vehicle Signal ( same as on the regular diag menu I think )
Soft Version ( What software version do I have? )
TEL Voice ( Looks like some kind of voice adjustment you can do like on the regular menu )
TFT Adj. ( Adjust the screen color and stuff )
Display Memory ( What information can be seen here )
SRAM Clear ( Dont want to try this one but what does it do )
BT RF TEST ( Looks like a test to see how well your BT phone is connecting? )
    ROM/RAM R/W ( Read and write the ROM/RAM for new firmware? )
Check Sum ( checks to make sure the loaded firmware is correct? )
Data Logging ( Looks like you have to hold this one down to enter but What does this do )

I'm not responsible for any damage to your Prius if you go messing around in here!

Toyota Prius Goofs should be a class action lawsuit!
    1) Fog lights do not work without headlights on - defeats the whole purpose of fog lights
    2) A $1000 nav sytem without free or inexpensive upgrades - NEVER BUY Toyota NAV again!
    3) Motion and Nav lockouts - who the hell is Toyota to tell me how to use my car.
    4) All digital displays - hey Toyota have you every heard of the word ROUND? Most every one knows that you always do all calculations to at least 1 decimal of accuracy greater that what is displayed then you ROUND that calc'ed value to the nearest displayed value - not truncated the way it is currently done ( If I drive 99.9 miles I expect to see 100, not 99!)
    5) And put USEFUL information in the car manual! Include a INDEX! Every darn warning indicator reads "Take to dealership" w/o telling you what is actually wrong.

Honestly I've never even noticed this and it doesn't bother me.
It's 0.1 resolution on the trip odometer, and on the main odometer I've got so many km that +/- 0.5 either way is not going to make much difference.

Odd that you'd resurrect a thread that was dormant for 5 years.

As for #2, unfortunately, it's not Toyota specific. :( As for #3, Toyota/Lexus has been doing this for a long time, likely for liability reasons. You can get around some of it via voice commands.

Since others have been chipping in...
Sorry don't get that one... The purpose of fog lights is to give you more light in extreme conditions. First you put on your headlights, then if you need more, you add fog lights. They are seldom needed, and never without dipped headlights...
yep. Can sympathize with this one. Not enough to want to sue Toyota, however...
